We understand signage can be quite complex at times. Within our FAQs section we answer some of the most commonly asked questions across a range of topics including service, product details and technical information, delivery, and online ordering.

Service

How quickly can you get a quote back to me?

We aim to get all quotes back within 24hrs. However, quote turnaround times can often be quicker than this. For example, our average quote turnaround time for Tray Signs is 9hrs.

How quickly can you turnaround my sign?

Turnaround times will always vary, but we try to operate with a maxiumum window of three weeks for complex signage such as Built-Up Letters. We advise you always speak with a team member for an accurate lead time. 

Do you provide a visual before ordering?

Yes, all quotes are provided with a visualisation before point of order. This allows you to see a represenation of your sign and ensure it is correct.

Delivery

How will my signs be delivered?

Signs can be delivered via our Shuttle Service or third party courier. For signage we have several delivery partners. 

What is the Shuttle Service?

The Shuttle Service is our in-house delivery method. We have vans travelling up and down the UK on a regular basis. 

What couriers do you use?

We have several delivery partners which include DX, UPS, and FedEx. This allows us the flexibility to ensure your signs can be delivered on time and as expected.

Signage Products

What is the minimum depth of a Tray Sign that can be fabricated?

We advise Tray Signage is fabricated to a minimum depth of 50mm to ensure maximum illumination and reduced chance of hot spotting. 

What size letters can you fabricate?

It very much depends on the font and type of letter. Generally speaking letters can be as small as 170mm in height and as big as 1800mm.

How will my signage be fitted?

We supply a fitting template to help guide you with installation. Our team members are also happy to advise if required.

Online Ordering

I have a William Smith account, do I need to sign up for a Smith account too?

If you already have an online ordering account for William Smith, our sister company, you simply gain access via the quick registration method. 

I can't access my online account, what should I do?

Unfortunately technology can sometimes lead to unexpected issues. If you are unable to access your account we suggest following the instruction provided by the displayed error message.
